As standard, three holes are provided for three different positions, depending on the distance between the grab rails. However, if the distance differs, the solution can be customized without great effort.

By making clever use of the existing support bars and positioning them in the center of the passenger compartment with an appropriate angle of inclination, the required visibility guidelines for the monitors can be easily met. If additional monitors are required on partition walls or passenger passageways, FELA offers an equally flexible and easy-to-maintain 2-way mounting system.

The arrangement of the two mirrored panels and a cable duct in the middle allow the installation of the gondola and connection to the cabling even before the monitors have to be mounted. The lightweight aluminum gondola, which weighs only 22 kg, is attached to the ceiling first, and the TFT monitors are connected and installed in a second step, which makes installation much easier than with conventional solutions.

The robust 21.5″ TFT panel mount monitors from FELA, which were specially developed for use in the railroad, are perfectly matched to the mechanical concept of the mounts, providing a well thought-out all-round package for retrofitting a passenger information system.
