One amplifier as powerful as two:FELA Audiocast Amplifier ACA 2201
Clear and understandable announcements are essential for passengers on the train. In order for these to succeed via the passenger system, FELA uses on trains, the latest generation audio amplifier developed in-house with digital signal transmission.
The audio amplifier, developed for use in our Phone and Announcement System (PAN), focuses on powerful, modern and redundant hardware in a compact design.

The amplifier with LAN and UIC interface allows a more fail-safe PAN. The redundant system offers four individually controllable audio channels with 50 watts (4 x 12.5) of power. For increased safety, the power supply features two separate DC/DC converters and dual audio amplifiers with two independent audio channels.
Should one of the two external or internal power supplies fail, the system will continue to function. This is because the integrated power monitoring system monitors the power supply.
The amplifiers are connected via LAN and can also be controlled via UIC interface to output prioritized announcements.
The amplifier provides rail operators with a cost-optimized solution for both new and refit projects. The amplifier can also be integrated into an existing PAN system as a SIP client. The compact design allows installation in the smallest niches and the practical USB port helps with servicing. The freely selectable mounting simplifies both installation and removal due to the reduced wiring effort.
The digital amplifier complies with EN50155, 45545-2 and is TSI LOC&PAS as well as CE/RED compliant, which greatly simplifies the approval process for railroad operators.
